How to use my Canon sx10is powershot?

By Admin | Aug 13, 2009

I shall begin by stating that I am no great photographer and I generally just want to be able to take good shots without too much faffing around. My Canon sx10is powershot allows me to do this. But that is not to say that there aren’t plenty of settings and features to play around with for the real camera geek. The new face detection feature is a great addition to this camera and is well worth taken a little time to figure out how to set this. It is now possible to take a decent self portrait and the automatic red eye removal means that it isn’t necessary to use the red eye light anywhere near so much as previously.
Another benefit of the Canon sx10is powershot that sets it apart from it’s competition is the flip out and swivel viewfinder, it allows me to catch much better candid shots as the subject is less aware of a camera pointing at them. It has a 20x optical zoom and with the image stabilization takes some very nice, crisp shots from long distances. Setting the camera at higher ISO’s is good for low lighting and the quality on this model is much better than previous models. Finally, it comes with a very handy low battery warning so you never miss that important shot!
